One response by Luz (@LoTooky) provided a historical fact that is not taught in schools and barely touched upon by American historians.

Wars need money and we as Colonists barely had any despite the wealth and riches of many of the Founding Fathers.

If it were not for one man - Haym - then we may be speaking British instead of American today.
