American Red Squirrel

The American Red Squirrel (Tamiasciurus hudsonicus) is a species of tree squirrel belonging to the Sciuridae (Squirrel) Family that feeds on the seeds of deciduous and coniferous trees. The American Red Squirrel can be found in forests throughout North American and is also know as the Pine Squirrel, Red Squirrel, and Chickaree.
