Star Trek Prequel in the Works

Star Trek prequel is in the works, and it will take place decades before Chris Pine's Star Trek (2009). So with such little information to go on, I assume it will be about Commander Archer of the USS Enterprise and the founding of the United Federation of Planets? Maybe? Either way it's going to be in Abrams Star Trek Universe.
