Magnet Fishing the OLD Canals of Wakefield - You Won't BELIEVE What We Found! We went magnet fishing in the Wakefield Navigation Canal near Eastmoor and found some interesting items. After dropping a neodymium magnet into the canal, we were able to pull up several metal objects like old gas bottles, a metal post and an HD box. No real treasure was found, but seeing what kinds of metal items can be recovered magnet fishing in this historic canal was still fun.
