The Suffering and Victory of the Righteous

The Bible teaches that righteous individuals may face challenges, persecution, and suffering in this world, but ultimately, they will experience victory and reward in the presence of God.
The Bible acknowledges that those who choose to live righteously may face persecution. In Matthew 5:10-12 (NIV), Jesus says, "Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven."
The Bible also speaks about enduring trials and tribulations. James 1:2-4 (NIV) encourages believers to consider it pure joy when they face trials, knowing that the testing of their faith produces perseverance.
The Bible promises a reward for the righteous in the afterlife. In Matthew 5:12 (NIV), Jesus mentions that those persecuted for righteousness sake will have a great reward in heaven.
