We cannot let social and local issues be sidelined by big headlines, national and international issues. This is regularly used as an argument to justify neglecting social and moral issues, especially when confronting someone who leans Libertarian or Centrist. We need to stop allowing this argument to sway our focus away from the fundamental issues of our time.
