Lunatic Rams Skid Loader Into Cop Car!!

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Lincoln Police say a man behind the wheel of a Bobcat skid loader damaged a number of vehicles Sunday afternoon, including a police cruiser.

Officers arrested 36-year-old Samuel Peyrot of Lincoln. He’s being charged with second-degree assault and criminal mischief.

Officials said the incident began around 2:30 p.m., at the U-Stop near 73rd and Pine Lake Rd.

Authorities said Peyrot was driving recklessly around several parking lots in the area before police confronted him at the Home Depot nearby.

They say Peyrot hit several vehicles and the building itself before ramming into an LPD cruiser.
One person suffered minor injuries after having their car struck by the skid loader, according to officials.

Police said Peyrot finally gave up after officers drew their firearms and gave him commands to get out of the skid loader. He was then taken into custody.

No shots were fired during the incident.

Police don’t yet know the total cost of the damage, but say the investigation is ongoing.
