Crews of Msta-B howitzers work in the Zaporozhye direction

The personnel of the howitzer division of the Southern Military District carried out artillery strikes on the fortified positions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, which were identified by reconnaissance using an unmanned aerial vehicle. The distance to the target was about 10 km. The shooting was carried out with high-explosive fragmentation shells, which made it possible to inflict maximum damage to the enemy’s fortifications and manpower. As a result of the defeat of the positions, enemy losses amounted to up to 20 people killed and wounded. A field ammunition depot was also destroyed by a direct hit.

Artillery crews of the Southern Military District daily conduct counter-battery combat with the enemy, destroying, among other things, samples of foreign weapons and military equipment supplied to the Ukrainian Armed Forces. The 152-mm howitzer Msta-B is designed to destroy open and hidden enemy personnel, weapons and military equipment to the depth of the division's interests. Capable of firing both from closed firing positions and direct fire. The maximum firing range is up to 30 km.
