Russian paratroopers destroyed an Ukrainian infantry fighting vehicle using the Kornet ATGM

Units of Russian Airborne Forces continue to carry out combat missions in the zone of a special military operation in the Artyomovsk direction. In the Donetsk People's Republic, north-west of Artyomovsk, scouts discovered a convoy of two armored combat vehicles of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, moving towards our defensive positions for rotation. Their coordinates were quickly transmitted via communications to the control center. To destroy the column of equipment, it was decided to use the Kornet ATGM crew.

By accurately launching a guided missile from the Kornet ATGM from a shelter, from a record distance to the target, which at the time of launch of the guided missile was equal to 7,800 meters, Kostroma paratroopers destroyed an infantry fighting vehicle of the Ukrainian formations with the crew inside. The second BMP was subsequently hit by airborne artillery crews.

After the completion of combat work, the artillery crews and the Kornet ATGM quickly changed positions and continued to carry out the combat mission.
