One of the oldest lies is that humanity can become God. Deceive humanity into trying to become God, and humanity will self-destruct. As C.S. Lewis wrote, “the final triumph of humanity will be the abolition of man.” Are we note seeing similarities in the current technological developments around the Transhumanist movement and the use of artificial intelligence. Are we, just like Babel, speaking with one language and building toward our eventual destruction?

John Lennox, the former student of CS Lewis and current professor of mathematics at Oxford University brilliantly addresses the transhumanism quest for immortality and seemingly infinite knowledge.
