Episode 75: Part 7_PREDESTINED God alone predetermines who goes to heaven and hell

In PREDESTINED, Kevin describes how the scriptures declare that the LORD God goes about in the execution of the reconciliation plan.

This plan was put in place prior to God through the Man Jesus Christ, created anything. In His masterfully orchestrated reconciliation plan, the LORD God called a Man, a subset of the angels, and a subset of humanity.

These called out ones, the LORD God poured out in abundance all the riches of His glory and the glory of His attributes which are only found in Christ. These creatures get to experience the full radiant glory, love, compassion, mercy, and grace of the Almighty God, the Holy One of Israel.

13 But we are bound to give thanks to God always for you, brethren beloved by the Lord, BECAUSE GOD FROM THE BEGINNING CHOSE YOU FOR SALVATION through sanctification by the Spirit and belief in the truth, 14 to which HE CALLED YOU BY OUR GOSPEL, FOR THE OBTAINING OF THE GLORY OF OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST. 2 Thessalonians 2:13-14

Wow!!! Why is God doing this?

3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ, 4 just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love, 5 having predestined us to adoption as sons by Jesus Christ to Himself, ACCORDING TO THE GOOD PLEASURE OF HIS WILL, 6 TO THE PRAISE OF THE GLORY OF HIS GRACE, by which He made us accepted in the Beloved. Ephesians 1:3-6

The incredible depth of these passages of scripture goes beyond human understanding. This is divinely inspired and divinely executed. There is no way to communicate this other than to stand in complete awe of the God of heaven and earth, then bow at His majesty and grace.

To You alone, O Lord, belongs glory, honor, and praise both now and forever, amen!
