What amounts to the rich, famous, and privileged patting one another on the back.

What could possibly motivate any sane and balanced person to really give a sh!t about who wins an oscar, for example? These people are as removed from reality as light is from dark. All these prime time award shows are is telecasted glad-handing and applauding themselves, further demonstrating their pride at being ‘better than most’.

I have no idea who has been nominated for what but I know this; I have no interest in wasting my time watching or listening to celebrity award shows. Their hubris is as thick as ice on an Alaskan sidewalk in February.

Find something more productive and fun, like a board game or a good book, or even a good movie.
