Seeing the body as divinely intelligent

Discussing why we feel pain and what it does when we use painkillers, alcohol, and other neuro-degenerative substances.

Since our organs cannot think, nutrient distribution and disposal of waste are communicated through nervous cells. All is done through feeling, and thus to heal, it is required that our body feels all that is going on. Pain is a divine function within the body signaling there is a problem that must be fixed. The body was made intelligently, the most advanced machinery we have created in this civilization does not come close in comparison to the intelligent complexity that is the human body.

Since the body is worth more than all the money in the world, maybe we should stop drugging it and cutting it up when we perceive it is not serving us. Maybe we need to look inside out and see that actually what is happening is we are not serving it.
