And while most big cities like New York and Chicago or Boston and DC built transportation infrastructure simultaneously with their city and skyline… LA did not. The result for Los Angeles has been a disaster. You better have a car and several extra hours each day to sit in horrendous traffic. Or could there be a better option like LA Metro Rail with its many trains and buses crisscrossing LA County and beyond. Everywhere from Downtown LA and Hollywood to Beverly Hills and the San Fernando Valley. Metro has ambitious goals to get millions of motorists out of their cars and make LA transportation the best in the world. An enthusiastic agenda not without its challenges.
