FUNKYSPECTRUM - Play Modern Warfare 2 (2009) with us!

Modern Warfare 2 is still probably my favourite team FPS and you can play it NOW with us using the alterware server launcher. This also contains many maps and QOL improvements, so it's all the best parts of the game in one package.

So, download the game from your chosen online portal and then you can join us in the revamped alterware multiplayer servers!

You can get alterware from here: https://alterware.dev/

Put the alterware-launcher.exe in your Modern Warfare 2 install folder and run it. Select 1 and hit return then it'll download all the mods/maps it needs to run before launching the game.

You can also use it to play the single player game, too, and (maybe) the "spec ops" co-op mode although that may require port forwarding, I'm not sure.
