Chicken Bedtime: Working Out the Pecking Order

This is inside the coop the second night after having the big girls introduced to our flock of smaller girls. As you can see the little girls like to come in early and get situated. But then the big girls came in and chased them out. You'll notice that Goldie one of our big girls goes outside after the little girls leave. She actually goes out there and tries to herd them back into the chicken coop. She wants them to come back inside to go to bed. But in the end, they all come back in everybody's happy in the Coop.
