Girl Guide Leader Relates UFO Sighting in UK

Olive Grainger, a leader of a girls troop
recounts an event she and others witnessed
in 1971 in Hembleton.

Himbleton is a village and civil parish in the Wychavon district, in the county of Worcestershire, England. It lies about 5 miles (8.0 km) south-east of Droitwich and 7.5 miles (12.1 km) north-east of Worcester.

They saw a long, cylindrical UFO with lights simply
hovering in the sky during daylight hours.

At first, the UFO was quite close to the
group, but then it moved about 50 yards away
and was closer to the ground.

Mrs. Grainger could only state that it was not
an airplane or any type of flying object she
had ever seen before.
