It’s the end of an era in Jersey as Sears prepares to close last store.

Sears’ last-standing New Jersey store is set to shutter, the company announced in a recent Facebook post.

The department store, located in the Newport Centre Mall in Jersey City, is expected to close in the spring.

An exact closing date has yet to be announced, but store closing sales have begun.
