Pedestrian dies after crash in eastern Las Vegas, police say

The police in eastern Las Vegas are currently investigating a fatal pedestrian accident that occurred on Monday night. The incident took place at approximately 7:35 p.m. at the intersection of Flamingo Road and Burnham Avenue, which is close to the Flamingo and Eastern intersection.

According to authorities, the pedestrian appears to have been crossing the road outside of a designated crosswalk while a driver was traveling eastbound on Flamingo Road with a green light. The collision occurred when the driver reached the intersection of Burnham Avenue.

Upon their arrival at the scene, law enforcement immediately initiated CPR in an attempt to save the pedestrian's life. Unfortunately, despite their life-saving efforts, the pedestrian succumbed to their injuries. The police have not yet released any information about the driver involved in the accident.

Fatal detectives from the police department are currently on their way to investigate this tragic incident further.
