How To Get Commitments of Traders

In this [How To Get Commitments of Traders] video we'll be looking at how to interpret the Commitment of Traders (COT) Reports. @EZ Mike had requested we look at these reports during our discussion chat and so we have links to the report, so you can see it's the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC). The report gives you a look at metals, mining, agriculture, petroleum, natural gas, and options and futures. We'll take a look at agriculture briefly as an example. You can see dealers, money managers, and other data. You can also get a simplified version of this data at the bottom of any futures chart in FinViz. Here we see commercial hedgers, large traders, and small traders, and how they have changed positions in wheat. The info can be used to understand support and resistance in futures contracts.
