The US Army, Navy, Weather Bureau and Generla Electric scientists seeded the first tropical storm ever using 180 ponds of dry ice dropped by aircraft.
The Cape Sable hurricane formed and abruptly changed color and direction, 120 degrees, and caused major damage.
