The SECRET PLACE Of The MOST HIGH

"He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty." (Psalm 91:1)
"..and after the earthquake a fire; but the Lord was not in the fire: and after the fire a still small voice." (I Kings 19:12)

With all the distractions and detractions we have in our world, as children of God, as His faithful ones; we need to remind ourselves that our hearing from God begins with our shutting ourselves off from those interruptions, diversions, and abuses and instead, we should get alone with God in our secret place where we are focused on He and He alone; and the only voice that matters is His; and the only conversation that is of importance at that time is between the LORD and yourself.

It is in that place of intimacy that we can sift out all the 'noise' of our surroundings and truly hear the heart of our LORD and share ours with Him; no judgements, no criticisms, no badgering; simply heart to heart communication. The more we learn how to not only get to that secret place but remain there; the more we will learn to hear from God; and the more we hear from Him; the more we get to practice stepping up our faith and stepping into His plans for us. Amen!
