Man faces charges after cross-county high-speed chase

A man led law enforcement officials back and forth between counties on a high speed chase.

Marion County sheriff’s deputies were contacted by Lake County deputies about Dennis Imhoff, 37, stealing a truck and driving on Highway 42 into Marion. Imhoff kept hopping between counties during the chase until he decided to get out and run into the woods.

On top of the stolen truck, they found Imhoff with a stolen gun and power tools. He’s facing up to 10 charges behind bars in the Marion County Jail.
