Rzhevsky Memorial

A memorial complex dedicated to the memory of Soviet soldiers who fell in the battles near Rzhev in 1942-1943 during the Great Patriotic War. It was erected on the site of the fierce battles of the Rzhev-Vyazma operation on the initiative of veterans of the Great Patriotic War by the Russian Military Historical Society with the support of the Union State, the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation, the government of the Tver Region and the Victory Museum. It was created exclusively on public donations. Opened on June 30, 2020
