I played a beat-em-up before as a kid but I don't remember what it was called. Could it be this?

After my success in beating Street Fighter, there's a series that I believe coincides with Street Fighter called Final Fight. How much connection does it have? Probably irrelevant but if Chun Li was seen in the game eating Ramen, maybe some relevance justified my choosing of this game next because I am still curious what that beat-em-up game was. Was it this? Only one way to find out.
