Comic Milo McCabe was being filmed by pal Will Hutchby as part of an act which sees him asking people to "sponsor a word" in the style of a charity street chugger.

But Milo - who was playing the character of a dapper 1930s gent - was astonished when he saw an alleged shoplifter running towards him, chased by a shop worker.
