The discovery of a safe in a Calhoun County ditch is under investigation.

Michigan State Police say it was found roughly 40 miles south of Lansing in Eckford Township over the weekend. There has been no word of the contents of the safe. Anyone who has information is being urged to contact the Marshall Post of Michigan State Police.
