B525 - Jan 28, 2024 Dead Sea Scrolls

This Bible History session reviews the discovery of ancient scrolls found in caves along the Dead Sea in Israel. The scrolls were a collection of religious and sectarian writings, that were quickly buried prior to the destruction of the Qumran settlement by the Roman army in 68 BC.

The Essenes were a group of fundamental Jewish people that lived away from the wickedness of the religious system in Jerusalem. They read copies of the Torah and studied the works of the ancient Hebrew prophets, living set apart from the traditions of the ungodly leaders in Jerusalem.

God's Word tells us that knowledge will increase before Yeshua returns at the end of the age, and discoveries like the Dead Sea Scrolls at Qumran, are providing the knowledge that Yehovah promised would be available to help end time believers.

Trust in Yehovah with all of your heart and do not trust in your own abilities. Cry out to Yeshua and accept His free gift of redemption for your life and be filled with the Holy Spirit from Yehovah. Trust in the Plan that will never fail!
