Fixing Brick Work & Keeping Critters Out

The brick work has been damaged by years of neglect, no gutters, and not properly installed to start with.
The racoons think this is their napping spot when they tired of going house to house eating everyone's cat food up and down the ditch line across the street from me.
I don't have any cats. I have chickens, which do not mix well with habituated racoons that are no longer afraid of people, or dogs, and are 40 lbs from eating catfood all day every day.
Not good. Not good for anyone.
So them sleeping under my house must be stopped.
These repairs need to be done regardless.
But not what I had planned this week.
Homesteaders must be ready to adapt, improvise, and overcome at all times...lol
Especially if your homesteading in a neighborhood, so close to other people that think it's cute to habituate wild animals to humans. It's real cute, until it isn't.
