Elon Musk has just announced that the first human patient has received a brain implant from his startup company Neuralink, which according to Musk "Enables control of your phone or computer, and through them almost any device, just by thinking."

Meanwhile DARPA and the US Military have been developing this technology for decades to be used as a weapon for neurosurveillance, to violate mental privacy and to eventually implement forms of forced re-education.
