The modern narrative says Hiroshima and Nagasaki were never bombed before Aug. 6th and Aug. 9th, 1945 so they could be experimented on by the new weapons.
This is false. Newspaper archives show Hiroshima and Nagasaki were bombed before Aug. 6th, and as recently as Aug. 1st with conventional incendiary bombs. The vast majority of buildings in Hiroshima and Nagasaki were made out of wood and paper, they didn't need power bombs to destroy the city.

Even in the years after the war, the newspapers still acknowledged the cities had been bombed before the "atomic bombings".
