Frantic call from Fishers woman after her dog falls through the ice

A woman had to be rescued after she fell through the ice of a retention pond trying to rescue her dog Tuesday afternoon.  Fishers police say the woman called 911 to report that the dog had fallen through the ice and then went out after him - despite the dispatcher's efforts to convince her not to.  Firefighters had to rescue the woman and her dog when they arrived. The woman refused treatment but took her dog to the veterinarian to be checked out.
