Ella Leach, Registered Nurse and Secretary of the Nurses' Professional Association of Queensland, addressed the Covid Royal Commission Terms of Reference Inquiry on 1 February 2024 with this hard hitting description of the abuse taking place in the Australian health system, and specifically to Australian nurses. Are our health systems now beholden to the pharmaceutical industry who put profits above health, medical ethics or human rights? When will those carrying out their orders, stop doing so and/or be held to account?
