Exxon, Chevron Both Beat on Earnings

Exxon Mobil Corp. and Chevron Corp. surpassed earnings forecasts as bigger-than-expected oil output from shale fields helped cushion the blow from weakening crude prices. Both stocks rose in early trading. Bloomberg's Simone Foxman reports.
