Berserkr (The Henbane Experience) - Epic Soundtrack

A berserker, derived from the Old Norse term "berserkr," stood as a mythical Viking warrior believed to possess an iron immunity and engage in battle with a savage trance-like ferocity. The question of whether berserkers ingested certain plants or mushrooms to induce their brutal behavior has been a subject of debate for years. While the Amanita muscaria mushroom was initially considered as the catalyst for their madness, recent studies propose that henbane, a member of the nightshade family, might be a more plausible explanation. This plant is said to produce effects aligned with the descriptions found in ancient texts detailing the behavior of these formidable warriors.

Adding to the mystique, berserkers were said to adopt the primal attributes of bears and wolves. Despite their fearsome reputation, these warriors were not always on the side of righteousness. In their battle-induced trance, they could struggle to differentiate between friend and foe, resulting in the indiscriminate obliteration of anyone crossing their path.
