Ingredients:
500 grams ground beef
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
1 large onion, finely chopped
2 tomatoes, chopped
1 tablespoon ginger-garlic paste
2 green chilies, finely chopped
1 teaspoon cumin seeds
1 teaspoon coriander powder
1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
1 teaspoon red chili powder (adjust to taste)
1 teaspoon garam masala
Salt to taste
Fresh coriander leaves for garnish
Instructions:
Cook Ground Beef:
In a pan, heat vegetable oil over medium heat. Add cumin seeds and let them splutter.
Add finely chopped onions and sauté until they become golden brown.
Stir in ginger-garlic paste and cook for 1-2 minutes until the raw aroma disappears.
Add chopped tomatoes and cook until they are soft and the oil starts to separate from the masala.
Add Dry Spices:
Add coriander powder, turmeric powder, red chili powder, garam masala, and salt. Mix well to combine the spices with the tomato-onion mixture.
Cook Ground Beef:
Add the ground beef to the pan. Break it apart with a spoon and mix it well with the spice mixture. Cook until the beef is browned.
Simmer:
Reduce the heat to low, cover the pan, and let the keema curry simmer for 15-20 minutes. This allows the flavors to meld together, and the beef becomes tender.
Check for Doneness:
Check the keema for seasoning and adjust salt and spices according to your taste.
Garnish and Serve:
Garnish the Beef Keema Curry with fresh coriander leaves.
Serve hot with naan, roti, or steamed rice.
