Newbie's Perspective IDW Sonic Issue 6 Review

Sonic gaslights Shadow into feeling like it's his fault he wanted to destroy the world when Gerald programmed him to and Sonic was told that by his diary. It only works if Shadow didn't get told that by Rouge. Otherwise, Shadow would've punched his smug smirk. I still respect Sonic's plan because it worked, making him look smart, and I'd rather a character be competent above all else. So with a writer who doesn't focus on that, I was just focused on this fact at the time. But in retrospect that was mean to Shadow. I just didn't mind because he was being mean to Shadow TO be nice to someone helpful.
