What if everything you believed in was true and someone came along and said you were completely wrong? Would you thank that person and be grateful? In the case of the disciples, they were net with the opposite of this. They were faced with rejection, and anger, and were thrown out of town. Chances are, if you told people Biblical truth today, you'd be faced with the same response.
