One-Punch Man is a Japanese superhero manga series crafted by the creator One, centering around the protagonist Saitama. Known for his ability to vanquish any adversary with a single punch, Saitama becomes disenchanted due to the lack of challenges. The original webcomic manga version, authored by One in early 2009, paved the way for a digital manga remake illustrated by Yusuke Murata. This remake, serialized on Shueisha's Tonari no Young Jump website from June 2012, has seen 29 tankōbon volumes released as of November 2023. Viz Media holds the English language license for the remake manga and publishes it in the Weekly Shonen Jump digital magazine.

The anime adaptation, initially produced by Madhouse and aired in Japan from October to December 2015, was followed by a second season produced by J.C.Staff from April to July 2019. A third season has been announced. Viz Media holds the North American license and premiered the anime on Adult Swim's Toonami programming block in July 2016, with the second season following suit in October 2019.

The original webcomic manga exceeded 7.9 million hits by June 2012, while the manga remake achieved global success, selling over 30 million copies by April 2020 and securing its place as one of the best-selling manga series of all time.
