Ontario won't follow Alberta in restricting surgery and hormone treatment for transgender kids

Ontario Premier Doug Ford, speaking at a press conference today, says that Ontario has no intentions of implementing restrictions similar to those imposed by Alberta's Premier Danielle Smith regarding surgery and hormone treatments for transgender children.

Ford quickly shifts the conversation, praising The Globe and Mail for a recent story on EV vehicle and battery plants in Canada.

"We are leading the world, folks, in EV and battery productions, and there is still more good news to come," says Ford.
