The New Mario World

This video is very long overdue. Obviously life has kinda been in the way over the last few months which explains why I'm late to this.

This is my long awaited take on Super Mario Wonder, kind of. See I know there really isn't too much to bring to the conversation that hasn't been said already about this game but no one seems to have touched upon the connections between this game and Super Mario World. In this video I talk about both Mario Wonder and World and how the two are more similar than many would assume, with some of my own gaming history and 2D Mario thrown in.

This video has definitely been in the back of my mind for a while now and I am happy to finally have finished it and be able to share it with all of you guys. And if we don't count the 2023 recap video (because I sure as hell don't) this is my first official video of 2024! And what better way to open up 2024 then talking about a game that came out in 2023!

What's also big about this particular video is that this is the first video on this channel made while I'm in Washington DC. I've been here for a little under a month now. Now that I'm settled in, hopefully I can start to have some more semi consistent uploads. One can only hope though :)
