The Mysterious Case of the Unidentified Woman Found in Monatiquot River

🔍 Dive into the chilling mystery surrounding the unidentified remains found along the banks of the Monatiquot River in Braintree, Massachusetts.

🔍 On February 15, 1997, an early morning kayaker encountered a deceased individual on the side of the river.

🔍 The remains were those of an Asian woman, who had been pregnant for eight to ten weeks. She was estimated to be between 25-35 years old, 4’11” tall, weighing 88 lbs, with very short black short hair, measuring about an ½ inch long and black eyes. She has an extra tooth on the right side of her mouth.

🔍 She was found wearing a rust colored ski jacket, green & gray striped shirt, black stretch pants and white sneakers and black socks. Inside both her pants & shirt, on the labels was the name “Maria Marin” handwritten. No handbag or wallet or identification was found with the remains.
