WILLINGLY SURRENDERING ALL

GOOD EVENING IN YESHUA EVERYONE!!!
You know guys, I've read this story out of Genesis 22 countless times, and each time God shows me something new. He shows me something that I've never seen before, and today was absolutely no exception. Today, as I was reading this passage of scripture, I thought about just what God asking for Abraham to do, and how difficult it must have been for him. I thoroughly agree with Kenneth Petersen, this morning’s devotional writer, who stated, “We can't imagine Abraham's heartbreak when God called him to surrender his son Isaac.” And that's correct. I know I couldn't imagine, but I also wonder, what precious thing God is calling me to sacrifice. I wonder with whatever it is that God wants me to sacrifice, would I be willing to do it? I say I love the Lord, and I strive to show that through my actions, not just my words, but when it comes down to it am I willing to sacrifice what's most precious to me?

Tonight, my friends, I'd like to share some things that God showed me from His Word this morning, through this vlog I’d like to share with all of you tonight, and I pray that what I share with you get you to thinking on this issue. So, my friends, as I close this post with all of you tonight, I want to leave you with these questions from this morning's devotional, and I pray that they will challenge you to listen to God, seek His will, not yours for every aspect of your life, and that you will be willing to surrender your all to Him.

What might you need to sacrifice for Him?

I hope no one minds, but I want to repeat something I stated a couple years ago, because I feel it applies now and that is this. Is there something or someone in your life right now, that is interfering with your relationship with Christ? If so, give it to the Lord today, and let Him be in control of it. It may be that God is calling you to something different, maybe He's calling you to change a career path, or leave someone that's unsuitable for you. You just need to be willing to listen. Just be willing to say I surrender all. Whatever it is, I pray that you will say “YOUR will not mine, Lord.”, and be willing to surrender that to Him.
