Contrary to modern myths, it was the Communist Soviet Union that wielded a huge and extremely threatening War Machine when WW2 broke out, in 1939. By early 1940, the Soviet Ninth Army was the most powerful army in the world. The revived Germany, on the other hand, had barely begun rearming and preparing for conflict. The terrible might of the Reds was put on display when the Soviet Union began invading Finland, in late 1939. While the Austrian Painter lauded the Finnish resistance to Genocidal Communism, the Allies, who had declared war on Germany only a few months earlier, allegedly for the sake of Poland, mostly kept their lying mouths shut. By the spring of 1941, it was becoming clear that a gigantic Soviet invasion of all of Central and Western Europe was IMMINENT. The Austrian Painter decided to act swiftly and decisively, thus taking the offensive Red Army, massed near the German border, by surprise, and saving Europe from a murderous Communist deluge.
