When my kids were little, they loved to watch the cartoon 'Peep and the Big Wide World'. The music in these cartoons were short, catchy, jazzy little motives. Wanting to try my hand at writing for jazz, I used a motive from one of these episodes to produce this piece - my first foray into jazz writing (please be kind in the comments hehe). I enjoy seeing where I've come from compositionally. This wasn't bad for where my skill level was back then.
