KARIJINI NATIONAL PARK PART 1 😯WOULD YOU DO THIS?! | WEANO GORGE | HANDRAIL POOL

Happy Sunday and welcome to the Pilbara - one of our favourite places in all of Australia! This week we're in for a good time as we leave Bullara Station Stay and tow our van through the Pilbara in Western Australia to Karijini National Park.

We make pit stops at some fun places along the way. First, we discover a great little overnight rest stop that'll make you want to camp under the stars every night and then we give you a quick little tour of the mining town Paraburdoo. Our journey continues as we roll into the mining town of Tom Price, where we grab a few things and check out a huge mining truck!

Finally, we arrive at our destination, Dales Overflow Campground in the heart of Karijini National Park where Chris fires up the Ozbraai firepit for a delicious Bullara Station spit roast!

And that's just the beginning! We visit the information center, where a lovely local indigenous lady named Kaylene hooks us up with a full itinerary of must-see spots and the best times to see them during our stay in the national park.

Day one of exploration kicks off with Banjimi Drive, a road known for its rough, corrugated, and sometimes muddy conditions. You can even get a T Shirt from the info centre that says 'I survived Banjima Drive'!! It's a no-go for 2WD vehicles, but we're up for it! Our first stop? Weano Gorge - our first hike? Upper Weano Gorge - a sneak peek of the wonders to come. You won't believe the crystal-clear (and ice cold!) water and breathtaking Pilbara gorges.

And just when you think it can't get any better, we continue to Lower Weano Gorge, put our wetsuits on & jump into Handrail Pool - because, why not?
