This week I've been ruminating on the brevity of life and how half the people I know are dead. If you've got plans, go ahead and get after it. You might not get a second chance. Looking at life through the lens of Lonesome Dove, the 1989 American epic Western adventure television miniseries directed by Simon Wincer. Screenplay by Peter Bogdanovich and Larry McMurtry. Gus and Woodrow are archetypes for a lot of men that I've known. They were a dying breed then, and still are today. It's a hell of a vision.
