Campaign Update | January 31, 2024

During the call last week, Shawn Buckley relived our many recent achievements, reviewed our goals, shared some exciting plans for the upcoming year, and answered questions from our community.

Here are just a few of the questions asked:
- What is the process that Bill C-368 will go through in the House of Commons? What is a 'second reading'?
- Are there any Canadian supplement companies that support NHPPA's initiatives?
- When will Health Canada begin enforcing their new regulations against practitioners? (spoiler alert: they already are!)

We also heard amazing advocacy ideas from our community:
- Let's host letter-writing parties with our families and friends! Get together for a fun night of socializing and letter-writing.
- Let's continue sharing and publicizing MPs' responses to our letters to increase transparency and accountability.
- Let's distribute postcards at farmers' markets and other community events.
