Cara Wieneke (among other Indiana attorneys) teamed up to prepare the Original Action, Writs of Mandamus that were argued in front of the Indiana Supreme Court yesterday that ultimately led to the reinstatement of Richard Allen's attorneys.

This Fall, Judge Frances C. Gull, disqualified Allen's attorneys from representing them in the case citing "gross negligence and incompetence" at a October 19, 2023 meeting in chambers. In January 2024, the Indiana Supreme Court ordered that Allen's attorney's be reinstated as his counsel of record.

Richard Allen has been accused in the 2017 murders of Abigail Williams and Liberty German which occurred in Delphi, Indiana. Allen has been in custody since November of 2022.
