Isra and Mi'raj, also known as the Night Journey and Ascension, is a significant event in Islamic tradition that commemorates the miraculous journey undertaken by the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). The journey took place in a single night, during which the Prophet Muhammad was transported from Mecca to Jerusalem (Isra) and then ascended through the heavens (Mi'raj).

At the highest point of the journey, the Prophet Muhammad reached Sidrat al-Muntaha, where he experienced direct communion with Allah. He received instructions for the Muslim community, including the commandment for the five daily prayers (Salah).
